Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal presented Sunday the government’s action plan, in a plenary session, before the members of the People’s National Assembly (Lower House of Parliament).
Prime Minister presented his action plan on the basis of the programme on which President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika was elected, on April 17, in the presence of the Speaker of People’s National Assembly Larbi Ould Khelifa who chaired the session and the members of his government.
In this regard, Sellal underlined that the commitments of the President of the Republic’s programme are “from now on the government’s missions and constitute the matrix” of the action plan.
“I hope that this renewed opportunity of exchange with the national representation be a high point of democracy in our country and give rise to a fruitful and constructive debate,” added Sellal.
The government’s action plan is particularly centred on the national security and stability as well as the continuation of the development effort to establish an emerging economy.
The action plan is also based on major lines including the national reconciliation, continuation of infrastructures development and the implementation of a determined policy to encourage national and foreign investment for the next five years (2015-2019).
