Law Enforcement Forces of the Second Field Army destroyed one of the longest and largest tunnels in Rafah in North Sinai governorate, the Armed Forces said in a statement on Wednesday.
The 1,700-meter-long tunnel was used for smuggling individuals, commodities, weapons and ammunition, the statement added.
The Second Field Army troops have demolished all openings of the tunnel to deprive Takfiri elements and smugglers of getting access to it again, according to the statement.
