Egypt's national security sector has launched a wide scale campaign to arrest outlaws across the country.
Thirteen members of six criminal gangs have been arrested over the past 48 hours on robbery charges.
As many as 79 fugitives have also been recaptured.
Seven persons have been arrested for possessing white weapons.
Nine machine guns, two rifles, nine pistols, two gas bombs, 900 gunshots and 320 pieces of white weapons have been seized in the campaign.
About 381 kilograms of cannabis, 10 kilograms of hashish, 1.5 kilograms of heroin and 1 kilogram of opium, plus 70,000 sedative pills, have also been seized.
Also 1,123 motorcycles and 20 reportedly stolen cars have been seized.
