The Interior Ministry said on Monday that security forces had killed three terrorists involved in the killing of four policemen in Beni Suef governorate.
"Security agencies have received information that two terrorist Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated brothers, who were involved in the killing of a police major and a non-commissioned police officer in Beni Suef, were holed up in an apartment in the 6th of October city," the ministry said in a statement.
Security forces raided the apartment and a fire exchange took place, which led to the killing of the two brothers, it said.
The statement added that a third terrorist involved in attacks that left two non-commissioned police officers dead in Beni Suef, was killed when police raided a farm in Beni Suef where he was hiding in.
The forces found weapons and bullets in possession of the three terrorists, it added.
