The Sudanese government has called on the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) northern sector to join the national dialogue and respond positively to the Sudanese people's appeal to use the outcomes of the national dialogue as a road map to resolve all problems peacefully.
Bishara Gomaa Arw, member of a committee tasked with following the implementation of the national dialogue outcomes said that Sudan is practicing politics based on benefits that have been laid out by the program of the national dialogue starting with appointing a prime minister.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), he referred to efforts being made to form a government through discussions and coordination that include all the dialogue parties and which will have a positive effect on the upcoming negotiations of the Blue Nile and South Kordofan regions.
He confirmed that the program of the national dialogue covers all topics and its negotiations are based on the existing references and drafts set by the African road map approved by the regional and global community, in addition to the national dialogue document which included all these issues in the peace and unity axis, stressing that the new government will negotiate based on the peaceful strategy and the outcomes of the national dialogue.
He stressed the government's eagerness and credibility to achieve peace in the country, adding that the Doha Document for Peace and Eastern Sudan Peace Agreement laid peace foundation in the country. He urged other parties to adopt peace in order to move forward, stating that abandoning the war agenda is an honor that will be met with gratitude by the Sudanese people and global community.
Seizing opportunities and taking bold and logical political positions are needed at this time, he said.
