PSV Eindhoven coach Fred Rutten has blasted his team for their \"embarrassing\" 6-2 home reverse against FC Twente. Prior to yesterday\'s mauling, PSV had won ten and drawn one of their 11 Eredivisie matches at the Philips Stadion this season, but that form was turned on its head after a sublime performance by the visitors. \"It was like a funeral,\" Rutten said of the mood in the home dressing room after the match. \"Our performance was embarrassing and not worthy of a top-tier club. We must always give our very best throughout the game.\" Twente raced into a 4-0 half-time lead through goals from Ola John, Willem Janssen, Peter Wisgerhof and Luuk de Jong. The 51st-minute dismissal of Twente defender Douglas gave PSV a lifeline and the home side pulled a goal back through Ola Toivonen almost immediately. However, Twente made light of their numerical disadvantage to add further strikes by Leroy Fer and Janssen either side of Toivonen\'s second for the hosts. \"It\'s been amazing. We beat PSV at home. We put in an excellent first-half display and we absolutely outclassed PSV,\" said Twente coach Steve McClaren, whose side are up to second spot, ahead of PSV on goal difference and one point behind leaders AZ Alkmaar. \"Beating PSV in Eindhoven is a great achievement.\"
