From today, Manchester United fans across the world will be able to interact with the club in a way that has never been experienced before with the introduction of its new Facebook® Page. United is one of the first organisations in the world to showcase this new format with features like cover photo and Page timeline. The new Facebook Page will bring the Reds closer to its supporters across the world, giving them increased levels of interactivity and exciting new content. As well as keeping up to date with the latest news and developments at the club, fans will now be able to easily navigate over 100 years of United\'s history through the timeline. From the birth of the club in 1878 to this season’s Barclays Premier League campaign, fans will now be able to interact with every moment of the Reds\' rich history. United’s Facebook Page publishes in 18 languages and is followed by over 22.9 million fans worldwide. Over 300 pieces of new content have been added to the Page in anticipation of today’s launch, demonstrating the club’s commitment to creating dynamic and engaging new media. Manchester United’s commercial director Richard Arnold commented: “Manchester United is proud to be one of the first global brands launching a new Facebook Page.
