No special plans for Van Persie

Michael Carrick insists United will have no special plans to deal with Arsenal attacker Robin van Persie. The Barclays Premier League\'s top goalscorer has been in outstanding form all season and scored after having a penalty saved by David De Gea during the 8-2 defeat at Old Trafford. Carrick, who has been playing exceptionally well himself, is aware of the threat that both the Dutchman and returning hero Thierry Henry will pose at the Emirates Stadium but feels Sir Alex will not alter his tactics for the occasion. \"There are no special plans when we approach a game like this,\" said Carrick. \"We assess the strength of the other team and how they accommodate different players but we don\'t change our game because of it. We appreciate Robin van Persie and respect how good he\'s been over the last 12 months. We\'ll be looking out for him but there\'s other threats as well so, in general, we have to play well.\" Henry is rated doubtful for the big game after picking up a calf injury in training with Arsene Wenger revealing the French veteran will undergo a fitness test. \"I watched the game against Leeds in the FA Cup and it was like the Henry of old the way he received the ball and finished it off,\" said Carrick. \"He\'s got great experience and ability but whether he plays or not, we\'ll have to wait and see.\" Carrick was speaking at a special webcast, Betfair presents Man Utd Live.
