Sweden's Mikael Lundberg and Spain's Jose Manuel Lara shared a one-shot lead at the Czech Open on Friday, but 25 players were unable to finish their second rounds after a thunderstorm caused a 90-minute suspension. Lundberg, a former two-time winner on the European Tour and who is playing just his third event of the season after losing his card last year, was one of the players who will resume his round on Saturday. After 15 holes he was three under for the day and seven under for the tournament while Lara had already signed for a four under par 68, and 137 for the two rounds. The Spaniard, who won his second European Tour title at last year’s Austrian Open, turned in a one over 37 but then carded five birdies on the front nine for an inward 31. "The wind was coming from all directions, but mainly from left to right. It also made it difficult to read the putts, because you weren't sure how much the wind was going to affect the ball," said Lara. "So it was very tricky, and I was happy when it died down later in the round. The course was a little bit softer than before. And then when the wind came down, the scoring conditions were almost perfect."
