Elite sailor khairulnizam mohd afendy improved his ranking by moving up the ladder to number four in the ongoing Youth sailing championship in croatia. malaysian yachting association general manager mohd afendy abdullah said khairulnizam performed better than last year when he finished seventh. "hopefully, the weather would be fine tomorrow as forecast with winds exceeding 15 knots to enable him to climb up the ladder further," he told Bernama via email today. mohd afendy said if khairulnizam succeed tomorrow, it would be his most outstanding performance ever. "the achievement could inspire him to achieve greater success at the world sailing championship in France next week in the run up to the olympic test event early next month. "his younger sister, khairunneeta, who took part in the women's laser radial class performed well yesterday by finishing two races in the eight and fourth positions respectively," said mohd afendy.
