Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness is convinced his side will win the Bundesliga this season after yesterday\'s 2-1 win over Hannover took them to within two points of league leaders Borussia Dortmund. Dortmund could re-establish their five-point advantage when they travel to Cologne later today, but Hoeness remains optimistic about Bayern\'s chances. They travel to Dortmund on 11 April and Hoeness expects his side to chip away at Dortmund\'s advantage before overtaking them with a win at the Westfalenstadion. \"I am convinced that we will be champions if we win in Dortmund, no matter what happens before or after,\" he told reporters in Munich. \"Our game in Dortmund will be the day of truth. We need to keep chipping away at them, and a win against a strong side like Hannover was a little chip and they will eventually have an effect.\" That chipping away means winning their remaining seven matches and hoping that Dortmund stumble somewhere along the way. \"We have got to just keep winning games and focusing on ourselves,\" said Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes. \"We have done that today I and I would like to pay my side a compliment for the way they played today.\"
