Borussia Monchengladbach defender Filip Daems is confident the club will bounce back from their DFB-Pokal semi-final disappointment last night and qualify for Europe via the Bundesliga. Monchengladbach missed two penalties in a shoot-out with Bayern Munich, after the match ended goalless following extra-time, to miss out on a place in the final against Borussia Dortmund. Daems, though, is adamant it won\'t derail Monchengladbach\'s excellent season. \"Bayern were more confident in the penalties,\" he said. \"But I don\'t think we will now fall into a negative spiral. We are playing a good season and we want to carry that on over the coming weeks.\" Gladbach coach Lucien Favre felt his side held their own against Bayern after coming close to defeating them for a third time. \"It was a good game, but tough to keep the tempo high for 120 minutes,\" he told Sky television. \"Bayern were definitely stronger than they were in January or August. We played well and it is hard to accept the penalty shoot-out, but now we will just have to look forward.\" Ribery thrilled for Neuer Bayern have at least one cup final to look forward to now, while they are also on course for a treble this season with the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League still in their sights. With a critical fortnight ahead, they have no time to celebrate last night\'s win, according to Franck Ribery. \"This is fantastic for us, fantastic for the club and fantastic for Manuel Neuer,\" he said. \"The two [Bundesliga] games against Gladbach were tough for him. But we won\'t celebrate now because we have a tough game on Saturday.\"
