Geoff Sweet writes in The Sun... We love Spurs but City will win title Manchester City will win the title but Tottenham are the best team to watch in the Premier League. That is the verdict of the men with the inside knowledge — the top flight's 20 managers. A survey shows that three quarters of them rate Harry Redknapp's Spurs as the most entertaining team, even though they have scored less goals than United, City and Arsenal. However, the majority agreed that City (67 per cent) will pip Manchester United (33 per cent) to win their first championship since 1968. The research — carried out by Barclays, title sponsor of the League Managers' Association — has Swansea's Brendan Rodgers and Norwich chief Paul Lambert way ahead of United's Alex Ferguson, City's Roberto Mancini and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger as the best managers of the season. The survey also found that Ryan Giggs is considered the most influential player in Premier League history with half of the votes logged. The Daily Star felt Sir Alex could rest Paul Scholes, Giggs, Patrice Evra and Rio Ferdinand for the trip to Bilbao but all four have flown out this morning. Meanwhile, in Spanish daily As, it's reported that Fernando Llorente missed training for Athletic Club. The Spain striker, who scored in the first leg at Old Trafford, is rated as a doubtful starter in Thursday's Europa League tie. Lastly, former United skipper Steve Bruce is to resume talks over taking over as manager of Sunday's opponents Wolves, according to the Daily Mail.
