Berlin will host the third edition of the World Arabian Horse Racing Conference in June 2012, UAE news agency WAM reported last night. Lara Sawaya, Director of Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Flat Racing Festival, said in a press conference that \"We are now assembled once again to announce the third edition of the World Arabian Horse Racing Conference.\" \"After successfully hosting the first and second conferences in Abu Dhabi and Duindigit respectively, the third edition of the conference will be held over three days from June 7-9, 2012, in Berlin.\" \"We are happy to host it in Berlin as it is a big city with a tradition of hosting Purebred Arabian racing,\" she added. To strike a balance between the three race series, she also said, the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Fagentri Cup has been increased from 2 to 9 and Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup from 9 to 10 and new venues have been included in the Wathba Stud Farm Cup. With many experts, scientists and vets along with many speakers in the equine fields as well as horse breeders, owners and trainers, attending the three days conference is expected to discuss many topics related Arabian horse and Arabian horse racing and find solutions.
