A Coordination Meeting for Chief Executive Officers (CEO) of Asian Football Confederation (AFC) club competition participating countries was held at the AFC House on Saturday. A total of 18 participants, most of them CEO of the league, from 12 countries namely India, Japan, Uzbekistan, UAE, Qatar, Indonesia, China, Australia, Iran, Thailand, Myanmar and Saudi Arabia are attending the meeting. The assembly discussed various topics under the topic Elite Education Seminar 2012. Speaking to the participants at the opening of the meeting, AFC Competition Director Tokuaki Suzuki, said, "Generally the EES target education through workshops and seminar but this one is a co-ordination meeting and we are expecting more interaction and inputs from the respective CEOs. "Since it''s a meeting we also welcome proposals from the respective CEOs to make their respective countries'' as well as Asian football more professional," he said adding that the co-ordination between League CEO and AFC as well as with club general manager is vital for the development of professional football.
