Sergio Aguero has assured Manchester City he will not quit English football after one season and return to Spain with Real Madrid, even if Roberto Mancini\'s side fail to win the Premier League. The Argentine has scored 24 goals since joining City for £38million (Dh221 million) from Real\'s neighbours Atletico Madrid last summer. Bernabeu president Florentino Perez is reported to have made the 23-year-old his top target and is willing to sacrifice his Argentina team-mate Gonzalo Higuain to fund the move. But Aguero said: \"None of that has come from me and the City fans can rest assured I\'m happy here. First and foremost the major aim is to win the league title this season. Then I want to stay here for a long time after that. From the moment I arrived, everyone has treated me really well and it\'s down to me to repay that kindness and good feeling I\'ve had from everyone.? Another City striker was less affable, however, as Mario Balotelli exchanged a few heated words with Mancini before training at Carrington. The 21-year-old was hauled off by his manager and replaced with Gareth Barry at half-time of Wednesday\'s game against Chelsea and was evidently not best pleased. The body language between the pair was as passionate as ever, but the heated exchange did not affect the training session. Tevez back in action Carlos Tevez, another to give his manager a headache this season, returned to action in midweek and Aguero has backed him to boost City\'s title bid. He said: \"Carlos is a key player because he\'s got five years experience of playing in the Premier League. He will bring a lot to the party for what remains of the season.\"
