Head of the Tunisian movement “Wafa”, Abdel Raouf Ayadi, launched a new initiative which aims to address corruption within the Tunisian government. In an interview with Arabstoday, Ayadi said the new the initiative is called “The Accounting”. He said his party\'s initiative calls the organisation of a national conference on \"Accounting\". He stated that the Tunisian revolution did not succeed at eliminating the remnants of the former regime and ousted president. He added that remnants of the former regime still exist because there is not a clear plan to eliminate tyranny. Ayadi said citizens have the right to information regarding government policies and decisions as well as police investigation systems. He urged for open police files and said: \"removing Al Tagamoa party was just in signs raised during the revolution on January 14 2011 but no action was real action was taken .” \"Wafa movement aims at building an Arab Islamic state,\" he added. He considered that the Troika Government did not account and investigate the corrupted businessmen and it did not reform the security system. Ayadi criticised the transitional justice and human rights ministry, saying they did not eliminate the corruption. He stated that Tunisia’s government is weak has become a hotbed for foreign intelligence Ayadi is a lawyer and one of the founders of the republic’s congress party, which was led by the Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki before he became president. Ayadi decided to leave the party and to establish Wafa Movement.
