Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid asserted on Saturday that the security situation is getting better, thanks to efforts of the security forces.
In a speech to the nation, Essid acknowledged that steps taken so far by the government to address the nationwide anger is not enough.
He reiterated that the government is ready to resolve any problems.
The premier called on the people to understand the current difficulties in the country.
A wave of violent protests is hitting Tunisia, the cradle of the Arab Spring, with acts of sabotage have been reported.
