Reconciliation backbone of home front

Iraqi President Fuad Masum stressed Tuesday that the national reconciliation is a key to bolster Iraqi position in its battle against terror groups.
The president made the remarks during a meeting with the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Political Affairs Gyorgy Busztin.
The meeting took up means to support Iraqi plans of reconstruction of areas retaken from Daesh group to allow the displaced families to return home.
The president urged swift assistance from the United Nations and the international community to accelerate return of the displaced people.
Busztin also reaffirmed keenness to help displaced families, saying, the United Nations' mission in Iraq spares no effort to support educational and development projects.
