Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that the assassin of the Russian Ambassador in Ankara Andrey Karlov belonged to the "Fetullah Gulen," group.
In a press conference alongside his Albanian Counterpart Bujar Nishani in Ankara, Erdogan said "There's no need to hide it," adding "Where he grew up, and all connections reveal this [FETO membership]." Erdogan expressed his regrets of the Fetullah Gulen group continues penetration in the Turkish police and armed forces, pledging to cleanse the city out of them.
Erdogan also announced that Al-Bab town, which under ISIS control in northern Aleppo is completely besieged by the Free Syrian Army and the Turkish soldiers.
For his part, the Albanian president Bujar Nishani described the assassination of the Russian Ambassador in Ankara as "terrifying act," and he further expressed his country's condemnation of the incident.
Karlov was attacked on Monday while he was giving a speech on a photo gallery in Ankara, which resulted in his death.
