Qatar Football Association's appeals committee has reduced the sanction against Al Sadd and Qatar defender Ibrahim Majid from a one-month suspension to two matches.
The disciplinary committee had handed the suspension on Feb. 8 on the back of an incident during Al Sadd's match against Al-Shahania in Qatar Stars League.
The appeals committee accepted the appeal and decided to amend the suspension from one month to two matches. While making its decision, the committee took into consideration the circumstances and the player's history in the hope that the sanction will deter him from committing such violations in the future.
Majid is now eligible to line up for Al Sadd against Al Khor in gameweek 22 of the league.
