An Egyptian mountaineer was killed Wednesday in Rabat while climbing the 400-meter Mount Toubkal.
After reaching the summit of the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains and in North Africa, Heba el-Hussainy has slipped in a 400-meter hole in a very rugged area.
Upon a tip-off by Heba's companions who couldn't rescue her, Moroccan authorities, supported by a helicopter, is trying to grab the Egyptian mountaineer's body.
The Egyptian embassy in Morocco is following up the situation around the clock.
