The Lebanese Basketball Federation eulogized on Tuesday Bejjeh basketball team captain, Roni Abou Jaoude, who passed away earlier today after sustaining severe injuries and entering a coma that lasted for more than a week. The 26-year-old player was severely injured in a car accident on February 7 and suffered from brain hemorrhage. "The Lebanese Basketball Federation, in the name of its members and the game family, offers heartfelt condolences for the family of the late, his current club, and all the clubs where he had played," a statement by the Federation read. It is worth-mentioning that obsequies will take place on Wednesday February 20, at 3:00 pm, at Mar Takla Church in Broumana Source: NNA
