Goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak is looking for a fresh start with Poland after a surprise international recall. The 30-year-old has not featured for the national side in two years but injury to Arsenal\'s Wojciech Szczesny prompted Waldemar Fornalik to call him into the squad for FIFA World Cup™ qualifiers against Montenegro and Moldova. He believes the move to Brighton and Hove Albion from Manchester United in the summer has improved his chances with the new coach, who took over from Frank Smuda after the UEFA EURO 2012 co-hosts failed to make it out of the group stage. \"It was a surprise for me. For some time I was no longer in the picture and now I\'m this close,\" he said. \"Everything is going as it should: I changed club, I\'ve had a good pre-season, I play regularly, I\'m in good shape and now I received a call to the national team - these are only positive things. \"All the time I believed that playing regularly would bring me back to the team and indeed it did. I return to the team after a long break but I hope that it will show my good side and the coach writes my name on the teamsheet. I will try to show the coach my best and I look optimistically to the future.\" Kuszczak is well aware of the threat Montenegro pose with the likes of Juventus\' Mirko Vucinic and Fiorentina\'s Stevan Jovetic in their ranks. \"Montenegro will certainly be challenging opponents, especially since the match will be played in Podgorica,\" he said in a webchat with WP Sport. \"They will be very difficult for us to match. There are many very good players with great international experience but it would be nice to get a nice result there.\" Montenegro\'s Vladimir Volkov is set for his competitive debut after a couple of friendly appearances but the Partizan midfielder is trying to take it in his stride. \"This match could be my first official one but to me every game is important,\" he told the Montenegro FA website. \"Against Belgium I made my debut in a Montenegro shirt and then we played with Latvia but it\'s very important to be in the best possible light in front of a home crowd. \"This is a good team which has a number of players who play in the strongest European clubs. We are optimistic and if we implement what we have been coached there will be no problem.\" The other match in Group H tomorrow sees Moldova host England. FIFA
