Kim Seung-Hyuk nailed two tough, par-saving putts on Monday to secure victory by two strokes in a fog-hit Korea Open that needed a fourth day's play to sort out the final leader board.
Kim's four-day total of two-under par 282 saw him finish two shots ahead of countryman Noh Seung-Yul, as he played out a third round interrupted by bad light on Sunday.
Kim played steady, patient golf on the restart, parring his five remaining holes for a closing round of 70 at the 71-par Woo Jeong Hills Country Club in Cheonan.
"My game plan was just to make pars," the 28-year-old said. "It's a difficult course and you really need to manage your game if you expect to win here."
Amateur Ham Jeong-Woo, who had been leading the tournament until a bogey and double bogey at the end of Sunday's play, was unable to mount a fightback.
Bogeys on the 15th and 17th holes on Monday meant Ham had to settle for a 75 and a tie for third.
Kim almost blew it on the par-three 16th after his chip ran past the hole, but kept his slender lead with a 20-foot putt to save par.
A tricky six-footer on the 17th also found the cup to ease the pressure on the final hole, which he comfortably parred.
Heavy morning fog delayed the start on each day of the tournament.
