Kveta Peschke announced on Monday she would no longer play Fed Cup just a day after she teamed up with Lucie Hradecka to give the Czech Republic the trophy in a thrilling 3-2 victory over Russia. The 36-year-old - ranked number two in the world in doubles - added that she would retire from all tennis at the end of 2012. "To call it a day (in the Fed Cup) at the moment when we have reached the summit, is beautiful, it is like the cherry on the cake," she told public television channel CT. Peschke, who won the Wimbledon title earlier this year with Slovenian Katarina Srebotnik, and Hradecka clinched the Fed Cup crown with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Maria Kirilenko and Elena Vesnina to give the Czechs their first win in the competition since they split with Slovakia.
