Germany\'s Olympic chief Thomas Bach said that at the London Olympics, if Germany could match its results in Beijing 2008, it would be \"an outstanding success\", local media reported Tuesday. Bach, president of the Germany Olympic Sports Association (DOSB) and an International Olympic Committee vice-president, told Bild daily that he could not expect Germany to land in the top four in the medals standings in London. Bach sees China, the United States and Russia ahead in the medals standings, with Britain, in view of home advantage, fourth. Germany has not been in the top four in the medals standings since the 1996 Atlanta Olympics when it was third. [ \"Behind them are a few nations battling for fifth place including us,\" Bach said.
