Defending champion Novak Djokovic needed three sets Wednesday but advanced to the BNP Paribas Masters quarterfinals with a win over Spain\'s Pablo Andujar. Djokovic, who titled at Indian Wells last year and in 2008, got past Andujar 6-0, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2 in a 2-hour, 16-minute, effort. Andujar couldn\'t break the Serbian star\'s serve over three sets while his own serve was broken five times in the contest. Djokovic, the reigning Australian Open, U.S. Open and Wimbledon, champ will next face No. 12 seed Nicolas Almagro of Spain, who polished off seventh-seeded Czech Tomas Berdych 6-4, 6-0 Wednesday. Almagro fired eight aces in the victory. In other fourth-round action, No. 11 John Isner of the United States uncorked 11 aces in a 6-4, 7-5 win over Australian qualifier Matthew Ebden.
