Cricket Wellington has confirmed it has received an umpire\'s report on an alleged heated exchange between Jesse Ryder and a Firebirds teammate in a club match in the city on Saturday. It has been reported that umpire Stu Bullen had to separate batsman Ryder, who was playing for his Naenae Old Boys club, and Karori bowler Harry Boam. The report alleged Boam sledged Ryder, who left New Zealand today to play for the Pune franchise in the Indian Premier League, for being available for club duty despite not wanting to appear for Wellington. Cricket Wellington chief executive Peter Clinton confirmed he had received Bullen\'s match report. \"The matter goes to a commissioner now,\" he said when asked if any further action would be taken. \"We haven\'t made that decision yet and it\'s actually not Cricket Wellington\'s decision to make as such, but we\'ll talk to the commissioner who\'s appointed and we\'re just looking now to find a commissioner to hear the matter.\" Clinton was unwilling to confirm the details of the incident. Ryder was released by the Black Caps last month for breaking team protocols around alcohol. He subsequently made himself unavailable for Wellington and then announced he would play for Pune in the IPL. His manager Aaron Klee and clinical psychologist Karen Nimmo will offer Ryder support while he is in India.
