The 2011-2012 UAE Invitational Scratch Golf League, which began in November last year, is now coming to a fitting climax. Of the 24 original round robin matches involving 12 teams, seven matches remain, four in League A, two in League B and a dead rubber in League C. Leagues C and D have already confirmed winners — Al Badia Golf Club, Dubai, and Yas Links, Abu Dhabi, qualifying for the semi-finals where they will play each other. The other semi-final will be between the winners of League A and League B. Bob Driver, League co-ordinator, said: \"This season\'s league is now taking shape.
