UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended today the third round of the Camel racing festival at Al Marmoum. Accompanying Sheikh Mohammed to the race grounds were Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and Finance Minister, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Al Murr Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Sheikh Saeed Bin Jumaa Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum and Executive Director of the Dubai Camel Racing Club Ali Saeed Bin Surood. Prizes The race featured lucrative cash prizes and a brand new Toyota FJ Cruiser for each round won Camel owner and breeder Khalid Al Arian expressed appreciations to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed for making available all requirements needed to sustain a sport that is closely associated with the unique heritage of the UAE. Thanks Arian also extended thanks to Chairman of Dubai Sports Council Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed for his constant support and continuous encouragement for breeders to raise camels. He also applauded the role of the Dubai Camel Racing Club, under the leadership of Ali Saeed Bin Surood, in fostering the events.
