The Qatar Swimming Federation (QSF) and the Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital, Aspetar, held a joint press conference at the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) headquarters on Thursday. In Thursday’s meeting, the QSF unveiled its arrangements to host the prestigious Doha Series of the FINA /ARENA Swimming World Cup 2012 in the short course (25m) will run from October 06 and 07, 2012. Following a productive press conference, the QSF signed an agreement with Aspetar naming the later as sponsor assigned to provide medical services to the both editions 2012 and 2013 of Doha Series of the FINA /ARENA Swimming World Cup . Mr. Khaleel Ibraheem Al Jabir, the President of the Qatar Swimming Federation and chairman of the FINA /ARENA Swimming World Cup 2012 Organising Committee and Mr Abdulrahman Al Qahtani Senior Advisor of Aspetar Executive Director attended the signing ceremony. The FINA /ARENA Swimming World Cup 2012 includes eight rounds: the first round is in Dubai (October 02-03) and is followed by Doha (October 06-07), Stockholm (October 13-14), Moscow (October 17-18), Berlin (October 20-21), Beijing (November 02-03), Tokyo (November 06-07) and Singapore (November 10-11).
