South Africa’s national triathlon squad has won the third round of the Moroccan Agadir qualifying rounds, giving them a place in the upcoming international championship. RSA officials have thanked the organisers’ “great efforts” throughout the competition. “The secret behind South Africa’s dominance is the strategy approach we adopted,” an official said. South Africa has won 13 out of 15 potential medals in all categories this year. More than 400 male and female amateur and professional participants took part in the third round, taking in a 1,500-metre swim, 40-kilometre cycle track and 10-kilometre distance run.
