Egyptian Ittihad, Lebanese Sagesse and Tadamon and Iranian Petrochimi reached Friday semi-finals of an international basketball championship, organized by Kuwait's Qadsia club.
Ittihad, based in Alexandria, smashed Kuwait's Al-Arabi 91-50, while Sagesse overcame Qadsia 82-69. Tadamon had no trouble defeating Al-Nasr of Kuwait 113-61, and Petrochimi beating Saudi Al-Fath 83-74.
Tadamon will now meet Sagesse tomorrow, while Petrochimi meets Ittihad.
Qadsia is organizing the international championship for the second year running.
