Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Secretary-General (SCYS), Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, has met here the Minister of Youth and Sport of Hungary, Dr. Istvan Simicsko, in the presence of Bahrain's Consul to Hungary.
SCYS Sec-Gen conveyed greetings of SCYS chairman, Bahrain Olympic Committee President, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to the Hungarian Minister, and discussed ways to reinforce bilateral cooperation and exchange of visits between youth and sport delegations. He noted the solid bilateral relations in the field of youth and sport and means of developing them to meet both countries' youth's aspirations.
The Hungarian Minister welcomed the participation of the Bahraini team led by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in the Ironman Championship, and highlighted the Bahraini sport achievements at all levels and the Bahraini participation in the tournament.
He praised the outstanding efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Bahrain in supporting youth and sport movement, and the remarkable success accomplished in local and international tournaments. He underlined developing cooperation in the fields of youth and sport and the exchange of visits to benefit from the expertise available in both countries.
