Al Sadd will face off with Gulf rivals Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia in the quarterfinals of the AFC Champions League. The draw was carried out at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Al Hilal are one of the Saudi regulars in the competition and the most convincing winners of the round of 16, as they put four goals past Uzbek giants Bunyodkor and conceded none over the two legs.
Al Hilal have already beaten Sadd 5-0 in the group stages and the Qatari club will be looking for revenge when the competition resumes next season.
