HM the King's Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council of Youth and Sports Chairman, and the Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has sent a cable of thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in reply to his congratulatory cable on his winning of the International Triathlon Union (ITU)'s 2014 Golden Medallion for Best Triathlon Accomplishments.
Shaikh Nasser extended utmost appreciation and gratitude to HM the King for his constant support to the sports movement in the kingdom.
He affirmed that HM the King's support is a source of pride for Bahraini athletes, and an incentive for them to improve their performance in order to bring about more achievements for the kingdom.
Shaikh Nasser affirmed that his exploit was one of the fruitful outcomes of HM King Hamad's support to the youth and sport movement, in general, and triathlon, in particular, lauding HM the King's constant keenness to provide all requirements of success for Bahraini athletes.
Shaikh Nasser pledged HM the King to carry on efforts to achieve the Royal aspirations of developing the sports movement in Bahrain, especially regarding triathlon.
He also thanked all those who had congratulated him on the ITI honour.
