Organized by the Qatar Bowling Federation, Qatari Amir International Bowling Cup kicked off on Sunday with the participation of 100 bowlers representing 19 countries, including Kuwait.
The Kuwaiti side includes 10 bowlers, namely Khaled Al-Dabiyan, Basil Al-Enezi, Jassim Al-Saqer, Rakan Al-Amiri, Yaqoub Al-Shatti, Salem Al-Hajras, Mohanad Al-Ibrahim, Abdulrahman Sowaid, and Ibrahim Al-Jedi.
The goal of participating in this tournament is to engage in general in all related tournaments of this sport, and to contribute in success of this tournament which is considered one of the best tournaments in the region, Kuwait Head of the delegation Nadir Al-Mansour told KUNA.
Al-Mansour has provided all of its capabilities to the Kuwaiti team in order to bring more achievements and return with title of this tournament, which coincides with Kuwait's national holidays.
For his part, Bowling national Coach Mohammed Al-Saqer said in a similar statement to KUNA that his team exerted tremendous efforts through intensive training in preparation for this tournament.
Al-Saqer expressed best wishes and success to the team.
Participating teams include Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Syria, Palestine, Iran, Philippine, Singapore, USA, Colombia, Denmark, England, Finland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Latvia, Sweden, and Venezuela.
