Qatar is confident of the "integrity and quality" of its 2022 FIFA World Cup bid and has "cooperated fully" with FIFA's Ethics Committee investigation into the bidding process of tournament, the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SCDL), the organizing body of Qatar's World Cup, said Thursday in a statement.
The Ethics Committee published today its report on the findings of the investigation and SCDL said it received the statement of FIFA's Adjudicatory Chamber chairman and will "consider it thoroughly before commenting." "As we have noted in the past, we cooperated fully with the Ethics Committee's investigation and continue to believe that a fair and appropriate review will demonstrate the integrity and quality of our bid," SCDL said.
