Qatar defeat Oman in GCC youth basketball championship

The Qatari youth basketball team edged closer to the title of the GCC Basketball Championship after beating Oman 98-34 on Friday. The event is being held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with participation of Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and hosts United Arab Emirates. The victory over Oman braced the Qatari team to lead the standings of the event with four consecutive victories. On Saturday, Qatar will take on Kuwait in their last match at the championship.
