Kuwait's Fourth International Arabian Horse Festival will kick off on Thursday with participation of 565 Arabian horses from 14 countries.
The festival, to be held under patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, will include a competition of beauty for Egyptian Arabian horses, and another one for the open breed horses.
The event will also showcase beauty competitions for one-year, two-year and three-year yearning fillies, as well as for one to three-year yearning colts classes.
The tournament will be held under supervision of the World Arabian Horse Organization (WAHO), said head of the organizing committee Sheikh Ali Nasser Al-Ali Al-Sabah on Wednesday.
The competition's referees are certified by the European Conference of Arab Horse Organizations (ECAHO), Sheikh Ali, also Chairman of the Kuwaiti Arabian Horses Society, said.
The tournament follows rules and regulations of the European body, he added.
