Kuwait's Tareq Al-Qallaf won the gold medal in the North American Cup (NAC) Wheelchair Men's foil competition on Saturday, held in the US Utah's capital Salt Lake City, the second gold one in the same championship.
In the final contest, Al-Qallaf outrivaled Russia's Aleksandr Ibragimov 15-10. Al-Qallaf beat also Ibragimov in the Epee game on Friday 15-6, winning the gold medal.
Al-Qallaf told KUNA that he dedicated this win to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and all Kuwaitis.
Kuwaiti champion competes in the saber game late on Sunday.
