The Kuwaiti racers ranked among the top after snatching 13 trophies in the final round of the Qatar-hosted Arabian Drag Racing League which came to an end here.
In the cars' race, champion Bader Khorshid came first in the "pro-mod" and Moussa Al-Baloushi came second in the category of "stock".
In the "super street bike" category, Ahmad Al-Joaidan was ranked first, followed by his compatriot Bader Al-Eidan.
In the "outlaw", Abdullah Al-Souri and Talal Al-Eidan came first and third respectively, while Mohammad Dashti was ranked second in the "index-4.5".
In the "Street 8-cylinder", racer Mohammad Chou came first, while Meshaal Al-Saber and his fellow Mohammad Al-Yaqout were ranked first and third respectively in the in the "pro-bike".
In a statement to KUNA on Saturday, Head of Basel Al-Sabah Racing Club's higher committee Sheikh Duaij Al-Fahad Al-Sabah lauded performance of the Kuwaiti racers.
Sheikh Duaij also commended better preparations made for the team to compete fiercely among the other participating squads, stressing the continuation of readiness of the team to take part in the next contests.
He expressed his gratitude to the Qatari organizing committee and officials for providing support to all teams. He also thanked the Kuwaiti fans for supporting their national team.
