The Kuwait national football team received the second loss in the first rounds of 16th Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup, outplayed by South Korea 1-0 on Tuesday in Canberra, Australia
The match's sole goal came eight minutes before half-time when Nam headed home a perfect Cha Du-ri cross.
Kuwait had a number of chances to equalize in the second half. Yet, with this defeat, they are almost certainly out of the tournament following back-to-back losses. They lost 4-1 to hosts Australia on Friday.
South Korea will move to Brisbane to face hosts Australia in the last Group A game on Saturday, while Kuwait is to meet Oman in Newcastle.
