Mohamed Younes will be spending the next few seasons in Ismailia after penning a two-year contract with Ismaily on Thursday. The former Petrojet centre back, who moved on a free transfer, is an important signing for the Daraweesh as they have seen a lot of their experienced players leave the club due to money problems. Ismaily coach Sabri El-Menyawi’s recruitment plan mostly targets players at the end of their contracts as the club does not have enough funds to make more expensive signings. The former Pharaohs international had a six-year spell with Ismaily from 1998 to 2004, during which he won a cup in 2000 and a league title in 2002. The 32-year-old has also played for ENPPI, with whom he won another cup title, Ittisalat, Zamalek and most recently Petrojet. ahramonline .
