The top weight and defending champion horse Al Dahis, owned by Dr Mohammad Al Nujaifi, ridden by jockey Per-Anders Graberg on Thursday won the 1200m Wathba Stud Farm Jagersro International Sprint (Group-3 PA) at the Jagersro Racetrack (dirt). Eight horses from Sweden, Iraq, Holland and Germany lined up for honors at the event which marked the 16th round of the Wathba Stud Farm Cup series and attracted eight runners representing Sweden, Iraq, Holland and Germany. The 16th round of the series which part of the 4th edition of the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Flat Racing Festival over 1200 metres and carries a total purse of around 17000 Euros in prize-money. Emirati ambassador to Sweden Sheikha Najla Mohammed Al-Qassimi, director of the Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Flat Racing Festival and head of IFAHR (International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing) ladies\' racing Lara Sawaya and other officials from the UAE and Sweden honored the winners of the race. The Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Flat Racing Festival is organized to promote purebred Arabians in different parts of the world and is sponsored by Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority. It is co-ordinated by Abu Dhabi Sports Council in association with Emirates Racing Authority, IFAHR and Emirates Arabian Horse Society, supported by General Authority for Youth and Sports and Fegentri with Emirates airlines as the official carrier and sponsored by the UAE\'s General Women\'s Union, the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2012, Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club and a number of Abu Dhabi\'s companies.
