Jorrian Hendricks won a promotional contest for the "Challenge Bahrain" international triathlon championship, which will be held on December 6 and which is being organised by Challenge Family and Nasser bin Hamad Foundation.
The event's organising committee held the activity as part of the promotions for the upcoming global triathlon.
Hendricks became the first winner of a Bahrain-Dubai-Bahrain air ticket provided by the organising committee. Another ticket with same destination will be presented to a second winner next week, while an air ticket for Bahrain-Istanbul-Bahrain will be given away the following week.
The organising committee is inviting fans who wish to participate in the promotional contest by sending an SMS message "BAHRAIN" to the following numbers: Batelco 95533, Zain 94112, VIVA 98887.
The contest and prizes are a part of the directives of Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in recognition to the Bahraini fans whom he urged to follow the global event which is being held for the first time in the Middle East.
Shaikh Nasser aims to expand the base of participants in the sport of triathlon, as well as urge young people to participate in this sport which is considered to be one of the more physically and mentally demanding sports activities.
