of the world's best action sports athletes and stunt performers will perform in Abu Dhabi in U.A.E. on December 5 as part of National Day celebrations.
Imagine flying across a stadium in a wheelchair or an armchair, or even a bath tub! A bunch of buddies who call themselves the Nitro Circus would be doing just that. They would launch themselves in pretty much anything they could fit in and fly across a stage, a fence or a sand dune - and these are some of the ‘easy stunts' they will be performing at the Zayed Sports Stadium on December 5, as part of the U.A.E. National Day celebrations.
Brought here by Alchemy Project, Nitro Circus has become a world phenomenon with their adrenalin pumping and daredevil show. "This show is like nothing fans have ever experienced before and I know they'll be blown away by the non-stop action and crazy antics that make up the show,” said Michael Porra, managing director of Nitro Circus Live.
"Fans can expect a whole host of brand new stunts and performances that will absolutely blow their minds,” he added.
According to Alchemy Project, the Abu Dhabi audience will be treated to a surprise performance that has been especially designed for the country's National Day.
In early 2000s, Travis Pastrana and his friends released 10 DVDs showing off their stunts and skills. Soon after, Nitro Circus became a worldwide hit, touring Australia, New Zealand, USA, South Africa, Asia and Europe, and also started a TV series. The also began making a 3D movie.
The circus is a gathering of action sport stunts, mostly base jumping with dirt bikes, skates, scooters and a range of crazy contraptions, including a rocking horse, Barbie car, kids tricycles, bath tub, lazy-boy couch and boogie board.
In Abu Dhabi, Pastrana will arrive with his crew of 40 of the world's best action sports athletes and stunt performers.
Fans are promised some of the most difficult and dangerous stunts in freestyle motocross, BMX and skates with highly-skilled athletes from across the world performing their biggest and best tricks off Nitro Circus Live's multi-million dollar set, including the famous 15 metre high Nitro Gigant-A-Ramp.
One of the most spectacular stunts in the show will be the hole-in-one, where riders launch 15 metres into the air off the Gigant-A-Ramp and attempt to land with pinpoint accuracy inside an inflatable Zorb ball.
"We have been developing and perfecting this show for the past year in tours across Europe and the United States,” mentioned Porra.
Tickets for the two and a half hour long show will start from Dh199 and will go on sale from October 20, only through http://www.tixbox.com.
