In the presence of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to the U.A.E. President, Chairman of Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club, the club yesterday signed a joint agreement with Etihad Airways as the official carrier for club teams for all its trips and competitions in which it participates on a global level.
The agreement was signed by Hareb Mubarak Al-Muhairi, the Vice President for Commercial Affairs at Etihad Airways and Ahmed Habroush Al Rumaithi, Director of the Office of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan in the presence of Hasan Al Hammadi, Senior Vice President, Chief Executive, and Muhanad Al Hashimi, Director of Government sales in Etihad Airways.
Ahmed Habroush reaffirmed that the directives of Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, have been credited with the success of this agreement.
Al-Muhairi added that the partnership with Etihad Airways is the result of positive cooperation between government and private institutions in particular, saying, "We seek together to achieve a common goal of the national vision for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which aims to promote the emirate's capital at the level of tourism." He pointed out that sport has become a tool for the global spread of the U.A.E.'s international tourism and the global role of great club teams through its various activities.
