Hamza Driouch from Qatar recorded 2.17.44 minutes in the 1000 meters in Sollentuna, Sweden (9-8). The 17-year-old Qatari ran world’s fastest time ever in this age group. The world junior record in the 1,000 meters in the name of Abubaker Kaki of Sudan 2.13.93 min. This was three years ago in Sweden run. Sollentuna is a training center where athletes from around the world have their summer camp. Driouch has already established itself on the attention. At the DN Gala in Stockholm this year, the Qatari-B of the 1500 meters race won in 3.35 min The new world record braced the Qatari athlete to qualify for the 2012 London Olympic Games in 1500m.
